Smart Art (Ben Day, Done Dat Edition)

This Halloween, why not let Roy Lichtenstein pick out your costume?

  1. Good costume but she should have continued the pixels down her neck and front too. Without that continuity, she just looks like she's broken out in measles or something on her face.

    1. Debra, I thought measles, too. Maybe the young woman's arm just got tired of applying all those dots, so she gave up.

  2. And hey, thanks for including my new "Beautiful Woman of the Day" blog in your sidebar blogroll -- I just noticed it and appreciate the publicity boost for it!

    1. Debra, since you've been running it, you've introduced me to quite a few women who I previously was unaware of.

    3. By the way, Debra, on your profile page, you just have "She Who Seeks" listed. Were you to add "Beautiful Woman of the Day" I'm sure it would increase traffic.

  3. I would be afraid of applying the half-tone make-up. What if it didn't wash off evenly?

    1. Jim, removing make-up is never easy. Don't worry about how I know that.

  4. Hi again, Kirk!

Happy 101st birthday (in heaven) to pop artist Roy Lichtenstein! I hope those are Ben Day dots and not measles, good buddy. Either way, it is an imaginative costume. This Halloween, inspired by the words of their king-god, some people will be dressing up as America and wearing nothing but a garbage can. My costume is a giant history book, and I can't wait to turn the page, y'all.

Happy halloween, good buddy Kirk. I hope to see you around the 23rd of next month!

    1. Shady, the coming election has me tied up in knots. I need the escapism of Halloween.

    1. I like it too, Ananka. Maybe someone should try Picasso next, if they haven't already.

In order to keep the hucksters, humbugs, scoundrels, psychos, morons, and last but not least, artificial intelligentsia at bay, I have decided to turn on comment moderation. On the plus side, I've gotten rid of the word verification.
