RIP. She aged v. beautifully in some recent stuff, so quite surprising. She absolutely shined though opposite Al Pacino in The Godfather. A bit sad to hear of her passing.
Gosh, I haven't seen those movies in a while now kirk. Although they are classics, I can't say I enjoy them, all the lying, and cheating. I remember the bare-faced way he lied to his wife at the end about turning a new leaf, and she believed him because she loved him.
In order to keep the hucksters, humbugs, scoundrels, psychos, morons, and last but not least, artificial intelligentsia at bay, I have decided to turn on comment moderation. On the plus side, I've gotten rid of the word verification.
RIP Diane

DeleteGreat quote - something we would all do well to heed. Mediocrity seems far too common of late.
ReplyDeleteDavid, Diane wouldn't have fit in very well in Washington D.C. these days.
