  3. Hello Kirk, The problem is that even if our candidates prevail in this election, how could the even be such a close one? Are there really that many vicious, stupid, self-interested people out there? What used to be called the lunatic fringe? Apparently so, and my faith in the majority of people has been shattered.

    Here's hoping that enough people come to their senses and/or were good to begin with.

    1. Jim, it's not the majority of people, but the majority of the Electoral College that's got me worried. Remember, the two sometimes diverge.

  5. Certainly a big day for you guys over there. Just a regular 5th of November over here. We have Guy Fawkes in the whole of the UK on the 5th, so there will be lots of Fireworks going off over here tonight!

    Are you gonna do a tribute to Quincy Jones? I was sad to hear of his passing but 91 is a good age. RIP.
