Quips and Quotations

First I counted the weeks until Christmas...Then I counted the days until Christmas...On Christmas Eve, I counted the hours until Christmas...I counted the minutes until Christmas...Finally, I counted the seconds until Christmas...I counted every second until Christmas...NOW IT'S ALL OVER!

    By Christmas Eve, I was hanging on by my fingernails and they were scratching on a blackboard. But I got through it and it turned out to be a most wondrous holiday season.

    If you look at the About Me section, you'll see one of the many descriptions of myself is "reluctant romantic." Christmas appeals to that romantic in me, but as for my reluctant half, I feel as you did when you described some people on your blog as Xmas Nazis.

    I'm glad you ended up enjoying the holiday anyway.
