Hi Kirk, I can see the images you posted, but they are too fuzzy to read. I just tried again, same result. Are they clear and readable on your end? --Jim
I can make the image larger, but then it breaks into the sidebar to the right. It's a problem with horizontal rectangles that I privately struggle with on this blog (not a problem with vertical rectangles, which I often make extra-large.)
Drew Sheneman absolutely nailed the feeling of the current political moment! The cartoon is brilliant because it highlights that confusing effect where people complain fiercely about economic problems but vote against the very policies that might alleviate them. It’s hard to watch that level of self-sabotage play out in real-time. Great cartoon.
In order to keep the hucksters, humbugs, scoundrels, psychos, morons, and last but not least, artificial intelligentsia at bay, I have decided to turn on comment moderation. On the plus side, I've gotten rid of the word verification.
So predictable, yet they never saw it coming. Some people really are brain dead.
ReplyDeleteOr in denial, Andrew.

ReplyDeleteLots of bird droppings in Washington these days, David.

Jim, just put the cursor on top of the image and then give the mouse a click. That should enlarge it enough to read clearly.

DeleteWhat are the price of eggs? I don’t eat them, so I don’t buy them.
ReplyDeleteI don't eat eggs either, JM, but I can tell you plenty of other things I do eat have gone up.
DeleteEggs are between 4 and 8 dollars per dozen, depending on the type. They have gone up quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteMore reason for JM and me to skip them, Linda.
DeleteI can buy them when they are on special at $3...this is what I usually do. :)

ReplyDeleteThank you, Melody. We also see it sabotaging those who claim to solve such economic problems but then fail to do so.
