ReplyDeleteThere are calls for the UK PM to resign, he's really *insert swear word here* our Country and the SNP too. We are kinda ruled by the SNP then the UK Government, it's complicated. And neither are any good :-(
Ananka, my theories about what the hell is going on in my country would take about 10,000 words, and then I'd need another 10,000 words tomorrow because I wouldn't be satisfied with my first explanation.
DeleteI will say that what politicians do once they're in power does affect the world around us (when it comes to the environment, which I know you care quite a lot about, Ananka, that's literally true.)
It's fun to put together pop culture posts like the recent ones with Thurl Ravencroft and Oliver Hardy, but I can't do them to the exclusion of what's going on in the world politically. To do so would make me feel like I'm aiding and abetting all kinds of fools, scoundrels and tyrants who've managed to get their hands on the levers of power.
