There's a new sheriff in town, so to speak. Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino having been sent into exile, it's now Tom Homan's job to rid Minnesota of undesirables. But where to find them?
Hello Kirk, There is/was a blog from England, not updated recently, called To Discover Ice. https://todiscoverice.blogspot.com/2024/03/the-cavemans-lament.html
The title is a quote from Marquez' One Hundred Years of Solitude: "Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendia was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice."
In order to keep the hucksters, humbugs, scoundrels, psychos, morons, and last but not least, artificial intelligentsia at bay, I have decided to turn on comment moderation. On the plus side, I've gotten rid of the word verification.
They did get rid of Bovino. That’s a start.
ReplyDeleteWell, Mitchell, the man in the Oval Office is certainly not going to get rid of himself (though it would be nice if he did.)
DeleteHe need look no farther.
ReplyDeleteBut I suspect he will, David.
DeleteHoman reminds me of a baby Hewie Mob mayor. I can barely understand him when he mumbles.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how'd he look in a bonnet and bib, Maddie.

Well, now we are discovering Ice.

Along with firing squads, Jim.
DeleteLuckovich has hit the nail on the head!
ReplyDeleteAs he does frequently, Debra. A great editorial cartoonist.
DeleteIt's not safe for anyone anymore is it? I could not believe when I read the news about the first shooting, then only to read of the second, terrible.
ReplyDeleteAnanka, I can't believe what's happening to my country.
DeleteI winder where all the Proud Boys that attacked the capital wound up after their pardons.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't surprise me if ICE is where they ended up, Mike. Legal thuggery, per the White House.
DeleteSame ICE teams with a new boss. What will change?
ReplyDeleteAndrew, as I told Mitchell, the TOP boss hasn't changed.
