Overture, curtain, lights This is it, the night of nights No more rehearsing and nursing a part We know every part by heart Overture, curtain, lights This is it, we'll hit the heights And oh what heights we'll hit On with the show this is it.
I caught a little of this on the evening news. It was truly sickening and would not have been out of place in North Korea. Kim Jun Trump basked in the sycophantic adulation, didn’t he? How those people have prostituted themselves! History will not remember any of them well.
You have to wonder how many MAGAts have gotten their head out of their ass so far. I'm starting to see a few on TV but I don't think it's near enough to make a difference at the next election.
Mike, if only MAGAs--whom I define as people in the thrall of a personality cult--voted for Trump, he wouldn't be President. It was MAGA plus independents, the latter upset over inflation. So I think it will all depend on what the economy is like by the next election (assuming the next election isn't abolished via Executive Order.)
In order to keep the hucksters, humbugs, scoundrels, psychos, morons, and last but not least, artificial intelligentsia at bay, I have decided to turn on comment moderation. On the plus side, I've gotten rid of the word verification.
I’ll just stick to singing the song.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you, Mitchell.
DeleteThat's so funny. As I read the lyrics, I knew I knew the song....but from where? I could even sing along. Naturally Google solved the memory loss.
ReplyDeleteAndrew, a cartoon administration deserves a cartoon song.

ReplyDeleteSuch a thing is so easy to see through, David, unless somebody absolutely refuses to look.
DeleteBARF!
ReplyDeleteDebra, I take it you didn't like the show.
DeleteShe made me smike
DeleteSmile, John? I accept that.
DeleteThere's a lot of theatrics going on in our senate today as well. Makes me want to poke my eye.
ReplyDeleteDon't do that, Lux. Your insurance might not cover it.
