In fact, I was already pretty broken by the time we moved to Utah (age 5) and I broke more severely across time. I think the reason I've come out of myself most recently (blogging, telling the story of my journey, being freer in sharing my thoughts, ideas, feelings) is that I finally realize I don't have another 57 years to go. I bark something pretty frequently at someone important to me: "While you're busy trying to figure out what you want in life, you're wasting OUR time, OUR lives."Leslie Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15702472429383639709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-635884225797829085.post-4928751755540702492009-11-29T13:19:35.029-08:002009-11-29T13:19:35.029-08:00I'm a Sagitarius, Limes. If I can live to a hundred without going senile, that won't be such a bad thing (even if I live to a hundred and go senile anyway, that may still not be a bad thing, as I don't think senile people know they're senile. I just don't want some doctor telling me I have Alzheimer's while I'm still sound enough to know what the term means)

For reasons I don't want to go into, (I'll save those for future posts) I've made quite a few mistakes in my life, but I could always take solace in the fact that I always had a lot of time ahead of me to fix them. Well, I have less time ahead of me as I used to, and THAT'S what bugs me about aging. How's that old saying go? Oh, yeah, youth is wasted on the young.

Watch out for an "Archival Revival" post sometime in December (another clue!) In fact, when I get closer to the actual date, I'm going to rerun a post from last year's birthday. It's one that I think is quite charming, though it caused at least one aquaintence of mine to call me out of fear I was about to do something rash. You just never know how people are going to react to these posts.

Tag, if I'm physically in the same shape in 30 years as I am now, I won't complain.
