Quips and Quotations (America Firster Edition)

I've always had a weakness for foreign affairs.

  1. Hi, Kirk!

In the film I'm No Angel (1933) Mae West uttered her famous line, "Come up and see me sometime." If she were still alive, I have no doubt that Trump would do just that (sneaking behind Stormy's back).

Have a nice weekend, good buddy Kirk!

    1. Hopefully, some of her uniqueness will run off on this post, Mitchell.

    2. By the way, Mitchell, go reread the comments for your post "Whole Lotta Love". I've added some goofy explanations to my previously goofy comments.

    1. It's understandable, Mike. Besides, either meaning applies to the situation.

    1. John, I stumbled upon her double-entendre by accident. I originally was going to use George Washington's warning about entangling alliances (turns out it was actually Thomas Jefferson who said it, though the phrase would have sounded even better coming out of Mae West's mouth)
